    Hi folks,

    We are running IBM Websphere MQ V 7.1.0.9 on Windows Server 2008R2

    There is a push to upgrade the server to a minimum of 2019.

    My question is will this MQ version install and run on Windows Server 2019?

    The reason we cannot upgrade the MQ version is because it is tightly integrated with Biztalk 2010 (soon to be decommissioned).  However the push for server upgrades is taking priority.

    Hello Victor:

    You've posted your inquriy to the IBM Transformation Extender page so you may want to redirect your question to the IBM MQ team.  I did check the IBM Support Lifecycle site and found that MQ 7.1 has been out of support for some time (July 2017) so it's ability to work with Windows Server 2019 would be best addressed by the IBM MQ team.  You can find this information at https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/1268992
