Attending IBM TechXchange for the first time was everything I hoped for and more! This week was about diving into the latest in tech, building meaningful connections, and embracing a community that's passionate about growth and impact.

Representing Seattle's vibrant AI scene, I came to TechXchange ready to learn, and I'm leaving inspired to apply new tools and frameworks. One of the most exciting announcements? Granite Models are now available on AWS! 🌱 These high-efficiency, low-compute models are perfect for resource-efficient AI applications, bringing scalability and sustainability within reach for a variety of industries.

Top 5 Learnings from IBM TechXchange

    1. Granite Models on AWS: Discovering the potential of deploying Granite Models on AWS opened up new ideas for building sustainable AI solutions.
    2. Bee Framework: IBM's Bee Framework fosters modular and collaborative workflows, ideal for projects where adaptability and teamwork are key 🐝.
    3. MARC for Multi-Agentic Workflows: MARC enables AI agents to work in sync, transforming multi-step processes in automation and customer service.
    4. Instruct Labs: Hands-on model customization through Instruct Labs allows for real-time, industry-specific applications, bringing AI closer to tailored business needs ⚙️.
    5. Women in Tech Panel: The session led by IBM VP of Tech Sales Rene Bostic was a highlight for me. Hearing her insights on inclusivity in tech rekindled my passion to revive the Women in AI user group. I'm excited to create a supportive space for women and allies in AI to connect, learn, and grow together 🌸.

    Projects on the Horizon

I'm eager to bring these learnings to life through projects like scaling workflows with Bee and MARC and deploying Granite Models for efficient AI solutions on AWS. Reviving the Women in AI user group is especially close to my heart, creating a community where women in tech can thrive.

And, of course, TechXchange wouldn't be complete without a personal memento! These bracelets symbolize my favorite aspects of this journey-from "Data" and "Watson" to "DevOps" and "Bee" 🐝. Each one reminds me of the incredible week I've had, the friends I've made, and the inspiration I'm bringing back with me.

    Till next year,

Here's to more learning, sharing, and building an AI-driven future for everyone!
