Hello Peter:
Thank you for your valuable feedback!
It seems that Google might have changed how they scan the PDFs, because for some queries that I have done, the results included text that was only found inside PDFs, thus, indicating that PDFs were searched and indexed. Perhaps Google is postponing a deeper scan/indexing of PDFs for later on.
In any case, we will take into account your feedback and for shorter contents we will not use PDF, but for medium/long contents (such as tutorials) we will continue using PDFs but we will make sure to include keywords and tags in the main body of the article to facilitate searchability.
Thank you!
Angel

Subject: IBM Technotes with answers "hidden" in PDF files
It seems like all new IBM MQ Technotes published by IBM are web pages with just a high level question shown and all the details and answers inside a PDF file. Recent example
Is it possible to disable IPV6 calls in TCP within IBM MQ and only use IPV4 calls?
Why the change?
And, isn't this negatively impacting search engines from being able to find the details? The above article mentions AMQ_NO_IPV6, but only in the PDF. If I Google "AMQ_NO_IPV6", the Google results do not show that Tech Note.
