Having problems with IBM Security Directory Server (SDS) replication?

Try out these two IBM Security Learning Academy labs for help in troubleshooting SDS replication.

Create master to master replication topology

In this exercise, you create a master to master replication topology between directory server instances that run on 2 virtual appliances.

    • Configure simple replication
    • Quiesce subtree
    • Copy data to the second master
    • Start replication
    • Test replication

Adding a third primary server to replication topology

In this course, you add a third primary server to the existing replication topology. Existing topology is configured as primary to primary, also known as peer to peer. We use the terms primary server and peer.

    • Configure replication topology for the third primary server
    • Copy data to the third primary server
    • Start replication
    • Test replication
