Let's just say IBM has dropped the ball on this from a marketing perspective. I am a ISV business partner and can’t get a simple answer through normal channels.

Dear Sean,
IBM is a channel-oriented company. Either you are a business partner, and you can easily get pricing through the e-config tool, or you are an end customer and should talk to your trusted partner to get it.
All Power-based servers are configured-to-order, so anyway the price always depends on what exact configuration you take. IBM publishes some prices for repeatedly-bought standard configurations on this page; maybe they will update it with an "edge" config based on S1012.
Kind regards,

For a newly launched product, it is very difficult to find pricing of any kind anywhere on IBM's website without having to jump through hoops of unnecessary emails and phone calls that fall into the void. Please publish some ballpark pricing for the S1012 for IBM I, AIX, and Linux online and save us the trouble and frustration of playing musical chairs and 50 questions.
