Hi Marco,
RDQM can be deployed on VMs that have a single core CPU. Based on what you have stated, I would not expect you to encounter problems with a single queue manager and your expected low volume of throughput. As per standard best practice, I would recommend that you setup a test environment where you can confirm the solution works as required before you deploy anything for production use.
Kind regards,
Jamie

Subject: IBM MQ CPU minimum requirements
Folks, i'm looking to build a RDQM cluster on three VMs running RHLE 8. Due to licensing cost, we are going to go with a single core CPU. Would RDQM run without issues on a single core CPU for a single QMGR? I know there maybe some performance issues, however at the end of the day this is low volume queue manager with average 1000 messages a day with a couple of queues. Any thoughts on what to expect?
