    We had a couple of questions in the IBM MQ 9.4.1 what's new that I wasn't able to fully answer so I am reposting the questions and answers here.

    Q. Can the new 'dspmqcert' command be used with the MQ web server (Liberty web server that underpins the console and REST API) ?

    A. Yes, provided that you are using a PKCS#12 keystore it should work, but the '-m' switch wouldn't be applicable.

    Q. Can the 'dspmqcert' command be used with older versions of IBM MQ ?

    A. Yes, but it would only support PKCS#12 or CMS keystores where you have installed IBM MQ v9.4.1 alongside the older version. You can specify the path to the keystore using the '-f' option.
