IBM Informix CSDK licensing

    Hi all,

    IBM ILMT detects IBM Informix Client SDK 4.50 installations and identifies the licensing metric as "Authorised User Single Install", however I am pretty sure there has never been the possibility of purchasing a licence nor a requirement to keep a record of installations and users.

    I also recall seeing Developer Edition (DE) branded versions in the past.

    Is there an official statement available on IBM Informix Client SDK licensing and does the edition matter at all?

    Hi Benjamin,

    There is a PN for CSDK in the IBM current price list and it has a price tag:

    D6DDNLL IBM Informix Client SDK Authorized User Single Install License + SW Subscription & Support 12 Months

    and there is also a renewal lincense

    E2DDQLL IBM Informix Client SDK Authorized User Single Install Annual SW Subscription & Support Renewal

    and it has a price tag.

    There is even a monthly license in the price list and a reinstatement license.
