  • 1.  IBM I series running db2 installing issue

    hi,

    I am trying to install guard-itap-11.2.0.0_r108838_v11_2_1-aix-6.1-aix-powerpc.sh for db2 running in IBM I series and getting below status, at the end it should come like installation successfully ended. all ports are opened between guardium and database. Can anyone suggest solution?

    I discussed with our db2 for i SME: if the audit server didn't start, perhaps one or more of the pre-reqs for using the iSTAP have not been established.
    There is likely a file under /user/local/guardium that gives more detail.
    Alternatively, look at the QSYS2.SYSAUDIT file for the user profile name that appears under START_USER.
    WRKSPLF on that user to see if a joblog containing the failure holds the answer to what's wrong.

    Since this is urgent, we recommend that you open a ticket with IBM Support.
