Arjun, I was involved with that APAR. The customer in that case used Query-Report builder to make a report in the Security Assessment domain, then ran that report and exported the results as CSV. The line-break issue mentioned is now fixed.
So if you create an audit process to run a Security Assessment, the results there are PDF only. I'm pretty sure there is an enhancement request to add CSV. You can search or create one here:
https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/rfe/But even without an enhancement, you can report on the results of previously run Security Assessments, and those reports can export CSV. Such a report can be added to an audit process as usual. Just use Query-Report Builder and choose the Security Assessment domain.

Subject: IBM Guardium Security assessment email reports in CSV/XLS
Dear team,
There is a requirement from the customer that the email report generated by the Security assessment builder (through the audit process builder) should be sent out in CSV format instead of PDF, is this doable? as we see during the configuration that PDF is the only output option.
We also found this APAR status https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/apar/GA16642 saying that this was possible but is related to 10.0, appreciate if someone has more information on this or has done this before?
