  • 1.  IBM Guardium appliances - Redhat 7 EOL

    Hi,

    We have about a dozen Guardium appliances in our organization, all running 11.4. Our infrastructure team have advised that they are all appear to be running RedHat 7, which is going out of support (EOL) in July 2024. Does anyone know how we can upgrade the base Appliance OS to say Redhat 8 or 9?

    Mark,

    Guardium v12 will be based on RHEL 9 that is expected to be released next month.  You cannot upgrade the underlying OS outside of the Guardium patching/upgrade process.

    You should be hearing some news soon and there are a lot of improvements coming as well.
