    IBM Fusion Software can be deployed on other platforms as well.

    It is worth noting that Fusion is primarily a SW defined solution.  Fusion SW can run on Power, Z systems, bare metal X86, VMware X86, the FUsion HCI system, or even on clouds like AWS, Azure, and IBM Cloud.  This allows customers to have a consistent operational model (ex back-up and DR) across all of those different platforms.  Customers that like Fusion HCI are not tied into it and can run Fusion SW with existing systems.  This gives customers a lot of flexibility.

    Fusion HCI is an appliance, as its an appliance delivered from IBM you can not choose the HW inside the Fusion HCI.

    if you want to choose hw, which can be x86, power of even z, then you have to deploy your own with Fusion SW. But then you of course aslo need to maintain, guarantee performance and support the HW of your choice. Only the Fusion HCI is a full blown appliance with everything you need for putting Openshift in production really fast.

    With good networks preparations it's 1 day !!! and then you can deploy Openshift applications
