    As a followup to the amazing Data Science career conversation we had on Oct 4th, I'd like to make all of you aware of some phenomenal Data Science/AI/Machine Learning courses we have on Coursera.

    The fees is very Nominal Approx 3500 / month and it's worth. I have paid the same I am not aware whether it  is reimbursable or not.

    Hi All,

    I've seen the course content for 9 course IBM Data Science Professional Certificate in Coursera. It has the same content as IBM Cognitive Class e-learning site. I've already finished 4 out of 9 courses in Cognitive Class.  Cognitive Class offers the course at free of cost and doing the same course in Coursera will take a lot of time again..Could any one guide me with the process of obtaining the IBM Data Science Professional Certificate through Cognitive class instead of Coursera.

    I'm afraid that's not possible. The courses on Cognitive Class are similar but not identical to those on Coursera. If you want the Data Science Professional Certificate them you will have to complete all the courses on the Coursera platform itself. Since the Cognitive class courses are badged also, you may opt to ONLY complete the remaining courses on Coursera and get the badges for those specific courses. But that would not make you eligible for the certificate. We are not able to mix and match at this time.

    Hey,

    Since I don't like pursing courses online so, after performing a huge research I found Post Graduation in Data Science and Engineering by Great Lakes. The course is available both online and offline. If there are people like me, who likes to pursue studies in a classroom you should definitely do it from Great Learning.

      I have secured the Data Science Foundations Specialist with 97%, 93.1%, 100% and 100% in the courses viz. Data Science Orientation, Open Source Tools for Data Science, Data Science Methodology and Databases and SQL for Data Science respectively; and now marching towards the completion of the Professional Certificate by securing the rest 5 courses too.

      Just a note to the good folks that maintain the content at labs.cognitiveclass.ai. The xlrd dependency seems to keep coming up in my notebooks and I have to run a conda install. Not a big deal, just takes time!

      I have completed 4 courses in the cognitive class site instead of the Coursera site for IBM Data Science Professional Certificate course. Do I need to complete those again in Coursera site to get the certificate or the course content different for two sites?

      After extensive investigation, I discovered Post Graduation in Data Science and Engineering with HKR Trainings since I enjoy doing online courses. Online access to the course is provided. If you're the type of person I am, you should certainly use HKR.
