I saw IBM COBOL for OS/390 2.2, service discontinued as December 31, 2004. But the COBOL for VM 2.2 is supported now?

You can read in this announcement that the product 5648-A25, COBOL for OS/390 and VM V2 - VM Full Function Offering was withdrawn from support as of Dec 31, 2004. However, you can also see there that in 5648-A25, COBOL for OS/390 and VM V2 - VM Full Function Offering: Features consists of a COBOL compiler and a debugger. The compiler continues to be available as part of the existing COBOL for OS/390 and VM V2 - VM Alternate Function Offering. COBOL for OS/390 and VM V2 - VM Alternate Function Offering is still in service today.
