Hi
@Thomas Ullrich and
@Chris Graham!
Great question, Thomas. Today (June 2022) we only support optimization of workloads running K8s, OpenShift, and VMware on IBM Cloud but not the IBM Cloud infrastructure directly. We will still see available performance and utilization data coming via the hypervisor and K8s management layers but are unable to provide specific, actionable decisions for the underlying IBM Cloud physical infrastructure.
Hopefully that makes sense. It is inevitable that we will see more integrations as we continue to develop the solution.
Thanks!
Eric

Hi Thomas,
It is my understanding that this request has been vetted by Product Management relative to the aggregate market opportunity and IaaS support for IBM Cloud is not currently on the roadmap. However, Kubernetes/OpenShift on IBM Cloud is supported already-for customers running those technologies on IBM Cloud. @Eric Wright can you elaborate?

Hi I see that a view public Cloud provider are supported by Turbonomic. Doesn't it make sense to support IBM Cloud as well? I have a lot of use cases there.
