    During the last IBM Champion call, I was asked to share my experiences and thoughts on the IBM Champion and Rising Champion programs at the IBM Select Academy in Amsterdam (NL). The goal of my presentation was to give this amazing community and the IBM Champion program more visibility. In many EU countries, IBM doesn't always realize the true impact that Champions can make. We're not just passionate experts-we're leaders who can drive real change. Whether it's supporting sales cycles with RfP responses and demos, offering expertise during proof of concepts, or sharing insights on how to create compelling, "near real-life" use cases, Champions play a key role in making things happen.

    Your presentation was truly inspiring, Jan-Willem! My colleagues know that I'm aiming to become a Champion in the future, and after your session, they reminded me, quite firmly, that I need to step up my game. Even a few IBMers mentioned they expect to see me in the blue jacket at Think in Vegas next year. I have to admit, I was a bit jealous seeing you all walking around in style! 😊
