    Do you know anyone who is familiar with IBM Logo and Corporate Identity usage guidelines?

    The writing from lawinsider does not help much.

    Issue:

    I would like to showcase online that I am experienced to work with IBM Tools like App Connect Enterprise Toolkit or ACE Console.

    It leaded to the question - how am I doing that - this is where we are quickly in the field of copyright..

    One of my thoughts was, I publish screenshots from the tools I am working with.

    Imagine a webpage like below, containing an Image as attached

    It felt strange to see something like that, wouldn't it.

    Would it violate the rights of IBM?

    Here are some of the trademark usage guidelines for the IBM ACE logo:

    • The IBM ACE logo should only be used in connection with IBM products and services.
    • The IBM ACE logo should not be used in a way that suggests that IBM endorses or sponsors a product or service that is not affiliated with IBM.
    • The IBM ACE logo should not be used in a way that is likely to cause confusion with other trademarks.
    • The IBM ACE logo should not be used in a way that is disparaging or offensive.
    • The IBM ACE logo should not be used in a way that violates any applicable laws or regulations.

    If you are unsure about whether or not you can use the IBM ACE logo, you should contact IBM for clarification.

    Here are some additional things to keep in mind when using the IBM ACE logo:

    • The IBM ACE logo should always be used in its entirety. Do not crop or alter the logo in any way.
    • The IBM ACE logo should always be used in a clear and prominent way. It should not be obscured by other text or images.

    Hi Matthias! First of all, thank you for considering this. Branding guidelines is an ofter forgotten topic.

    Hi Matthias,

    If you attend an official IBM training course on ACE, you will be granted a "Digital Badge" which attests to your expertise and you are then free to display it anywhere.

    Thanks so far, for contributing your feedback and thoughts.

    Badges and Trophies look nice on the CV. I never saw one at Fiverr, a Shopify shop, or Wordpress page.

    My plan is still to use screenshots from the tools as eye catcher.

    @Maria Cecilia Bel  - The bottom of the iconography page was helpful. It contains a link to an Airtable inquire form.
