Hi there Cognos Think Tank,

I've got an interesting project I'm trying to solve.

Customer has 40" touch-screen monitors in the workshop, and has Cognos dashboards running sweetly on them.  They now want to be able to interact, and tap on a link to drill-through (in a new browser) to a URL for basic data transaction processing. 
This is a web-based application (which also happens to be the data source for the dashboard!)

I thought of two ideas:
Hyperlinks, or Drill Through paths.

Hyperlinks: 
I can see the Web Page option in the toolbox, but instead of giving me a hyperlink as needed, it seems to want to open and embed the web link instead.

Drill Paths - only seem to want to give me the option to link to other reports - not external URLs.

Anybody got any ideas that I haven't already exhausted?
