Is there any restriction using https links in webclip? I tried doing so and am getting Request Timed out errors.

When you connect to an HTTPS web site, you need to ensure that the server certificate matches the hostname in the URL you specified and that the server certificate is issued by an authority you trust (JVM cacerts file).
Is there anything in the server log files when you attempt to connect?
