  • 1.  httpd 2.4.18 issue

    I have recently upgraded the apache version to 2.4.18. However whenever I am trying to check the httpd -v, it is giving me the older version which is 1.3.31. Can anyone please guide me to change the configuration so that httpd -v will give me 2.4.18 version.

    I am getting newer version in /opt/freeware/sbin path,

    root@awstolnim01(/opt/freeware/sbin)# ./httpd -v
    Server version: Apache/2.4.18 (Unix)
    Server built: May 11 2016 06:37:40

    But when I am running httpd -v it is giving older one,

    root@awstolnim01(/)# httpd -v
    Server version: Apache/1.3.31 (Unix)
    Server built: Jun 16 2004 13:40:47
