I tried it on two different hosts with following oslevels :

6100-02-02-0849
6100-03-01-0921

and it gave me the same error. The same version of Glance Plus was working fine with AIX 5.3.

Is there a new version of HP Glance Plus for AIX 6.1?

I think, I have found the answer. There is a new version of AIX Glance Plus v4.72 which I believe should be used. I just looked that up on the HP's website. But any comments on this would be appreciated.

is actually embedded in their binaries (coda, I think), so HP has to fix it.
We also discovered that OpenView does not support GPFS filesystems. Putting a GPFS filesystem in the alarmdef causes alarmgen to die with an error. HP says the 5.0 release won't support it either, but they are working on it.
