    Hello everyone,

I've been using watsonx Code Assistant for a while now, and I'm curious to hear from others who have been using it over the past few months.

    • Has it been as useful and effective as advertised?
    • How does it compare to other tools you've used for code generation, testing, documentation, autocomplete, or migration?
    • How much time is it actually saving you in your day-to-day work?
    • Are there any specific use cases where it really shines - or falls short?

I'd love to hear your honest feedback and any insights you've gained along the way.
    Looking forward to your thoughts!

    Hi,

    very useful tool.

Early December 2024, watsonx code assistant helped me get first at the IBM Ponder This Challenge December 2024

And a few days later in  December 2024 again , I solved an optimization model with watsonx code assistant

Early 2025, I used the same tool to solve the DMCommunity January 2025 challenge.

So Ahmed I can tell you I was quite happy with watsonx code assistant.

    Best regards
