Training has played a pivotal role in shaping my career. Whether through formal courses, on-the-job learning, or mentorship, each training opportunity has helped me sharpen my skills, adapt to changing industry demands, and stay ahead in a competitive environment. It not only boosted my confidence , knowledge but also opened doors to new roles and responsibilities I hadn't initially envisioned. Continuous learning truly is the foundation for long-term growth.

as someone who is brand new to the tech environment, this entire experience at tech exchange has been incredibly eye-opening and helpful in ways I never even thought of. This conference environment, lends itself to continuous learning for anyone that is interested in moving forward personally professionally, or really in any other area of their life. If we don't learn, we don't grow and if we can't grow, we can't make change in the world. Being at tech exchange over the past couple of days has truly shown me the beauty and passion within the organic community of learners that lives in this tech ecosystem. Happier every day to be a part of this community.

Figuring things out as you go works up until a point, but in todays tech landscape where the rate of change is unparalleled, structured learning & training opportunities are invaluable. In this field, you're either learning constantly or you're falling behind, and so constantly looking for opportunities to upskill helps maintain relevance. Whether its online learning through the likes of Coursera, industry insight days where you can learn from peers, or technical accreditations as offered by IBM, training can help you progress to the next stage in your career internally, and help improve credibility with clients.

I had 3 promotions in 3 years at Kyndryl, parter of IBM.
I've been dedicating all my life to studies. At the first year I got 40 badges and more some certifications. Nowadays, I have total of 65 badges by Credly. And I don't have regrets

My main badge that have leveraged my carrier has been focused on modernization and programming languages. Example, I issued Architectural Thinking, IBM z/OS Mainframe Practitioner, Mainframe Modern Skill - Practitioner, Master the Mainframe 2020 - Level 3 and so on...
I trust the best way to leverage your carrier are the studies, there is no other way.
