    That is a rather broad sweep of information, high level in a webMethods deployment Universal Messaging provides publish/subscribe and asynchronous messaging support. I would suggest you have a look at the web page http://www.universalmessaging.org/ there are links to a trial download and the documentation as well as white papers and fact sheets.
