I'm using the following format for updating my primary data file and I keep getting an error that the filename does not exist.

UPDATE FILE=' /data/MasterJune.sav'

 /FILE= '/data/Julydistribution.sav'

 /BY= Email.

Any pointers?

Are you on Mac? On Windows, you would probably need a drive letter.

What happens if you try to open these files using a regular GET command?
