    Hi,

     
    When you setup an OpenID Connect (Azure AD version 1.0), you can read the following in Cognos Configuration GUI:
    "Version 1.0 of Azure AD is still supported by Microsoft but not recommended for new applications, it also has limited features. Using the Microsoft Identity Platform OIDC provider type is recommended."
     
    Azure AD version 2.0, it is also known as Microsoft Identity Platform.
     
    I've found nothing in the product documentation or in this community about specific setup with Azure AD version 2.0 / Microsoft Identity Platform.
     
    I've added 2 documents found in this community (credits to the original authors) about OpenID Connect.
     
    The 1st one is called "Configuring Cognos Analytics with Azure_1.pdf". In this documentation, you'll learn how to configure OpenID Connect with Generic (as type) and Cognos Analytics v11.2.x.
     
    The 2nd one is called "AZURE AD2.pdf". In this documentation, you'll learn how to configure OpenID Connect with Azure AD (v1.0) (as type) and Cognos Analytics (unknown version).
    Do you want to share your experience about using Azure AD version 2.0? Best practices will be appreciated.

    Want to bump this again. Am I just bad at internet searches or is this an entirely undocumented thing? I would not be surprised at "yes" to either or both of those.
