How to recover from a Horizontal Cluster Crash ??

    --------------------------------

    Hi freinds,

    Scenario:
    ---------
    1) I have WAS 6.1 installed on two systems
    2) Dmgr installed on another System.
    3) I have implemented Horizontal clusttering

Purposefully crashed the WAS 6.1 installed on one system. How would i recover from this kind of scenario in a production env. What are the steps needed to be done to recover from a Horizontal cluster crash..

Looking forward for your valuable replies

    Thanks

    Win Najeem

Hi , I guess you purposely screwed up one AppSrv of cluster. you have nothing to worry , just create one more profiles on the same machine having same profileName , then federate this node to the deployment manager. Then add the server to the cluster and then try to synchronize the cluster. Send me error details if you encouter any.

    thanx for the reply...

when i tried to create a profile with same name, and while adding the node. It gives error saying, the node already exist..

Then i removed the node and tried again adding the newly created profile with the same name, that solved the issue..

Then copied the installed apps and config directories of (old DMgr and AppSvr01)
