    Dear Experts,

    I need help understanding the error details tab in Cognos Analytics. I got a QE-DEF-0260 Parsing error before or near position: 470. I had many lines of SQL code before this position, but I don't know which statement triggered the error. How can I identify it? 

    Highly appreciate your help on this !!

    I would insert the underlying SQL into an appropriate client (Dbeaver, Squirrel, etc) and then debug it step by step, i.e. comment out individual lines. At some point you will find the error. Often commas are missing or brackets are set incorrectly...

    Thank you for your response Roger, Is it possible to setup the Dbeaver for Cognos analytics? If yes, please let me know the procedure.  
    if I have 1000 lines of SQL statements, it is impossible to debug 1000 one by one, I am looking for an optimized solution to find the error.
