    spot = Shared Product Object Tree - equivalent to /usr file
    bosinst_data = config file used during base system installation

    | mksysb = a mksysb image

    My question is how create _linux_source_ ?
    If i create this resource i can install Linux like AIX from Nim ? If NOT. IS it possible to other way install linux from NIM server ?

    I do not have a 6.1 server with me, I'm on 5.3... so can't try it :).

    BTW, there is a concept called NIMOL (NIM on Linux), which you can use any Linux machine as a NIM server (which I still have problems getting it to work). Keep us updated if you can find something on this.

    It looks like the linux_source just needs to be created as a reference to the normal linux install media.
