    Hello,

    I have two SPSS files saved on my computer. When I open one or both files to merge by "adding cases" I am not able to find the other file to merge either as an open dataset or as an external SPSS data file that I can open. I was able to do this last week so I'm not sure what has changed. Please advise. Thanks

    Hi Support Member​ 

    What version of IBM SPSS Statistics are you using?

    On what platform?

    Are you able to open each of these files separately -- and it is only the "Merge Files -> Add Cases" dialog that "can't see" the files?
