How to manage ITM and ITCAM License on ILMT

  • 1.  How to manage ITM and ITCAM License on ILMT

    Dear all,

    Please help thease questinons about managing license on ILMT.

    1.

    I heard that ITM and ITCAM are updatable as RVU.

    But on the ILMT screen shows PVU license. (ITM Agent: UNIX OS agent).

    Should I change it to RVU to manage it?

    2.

    What license management is required if the ITM Agent and ITCAM Agent are installed on the server where ITM Server is installed?

    3.

    I heard there are 3 licenses for ITCAM.

    Are there

    ・IBM Tivoli Composite Application Manager for Applications Single Agent

    ・IBM Tivoli Composite Application Manager for Applications 3 Agent Pack

    ・IBM Tivoli Composite Application Manager for Applications Full Agent Pack

    Hi, you should change the license metric based on your license agreement. If it is for RVU then you should change it in ILMT to match.

    IBM License Metric Tool is designed to measure and monitor software usage. In ILMT support our mission is to assist you with technical problems or defects incurred or discovered while using IBM License Metric Tool (ILMT).

    I am unable to answer license questions on a specific product. Please open a case with the product team responsible for the product.
