  • 1.  How to get WAS logs in Unicode?

    Hi everyone,

    we are running FileNet Content Engine in WAS 8.5.5.12 and in SystemOut we get question marks for Unicode characters. e.g.

     ObjectAuditHandler - getValidParentFolder : folder name : b.?????? ???????
     ObjectAuditHandler - getValidParentFolder : folder class description : EAC_NetAppSubFolder
     ObjectAuditHandler - getValidParentFolder : folder name : 2.1 ?????? - ?????????? ???????
     ObjectAuditHandler - getValidParentFolder : folder class description : EAC_NetAppSubFolder
     

    Is there a way to instruct WAS write logs in Unicode?

    try to set WAS JVM argument and reboot WAS, eg:

    -Dfile.encoding=UTF-8 -Duser.region=US -Duser.language=en_US
