    Basically you need to configure the certificate monitor to emit a log message when a certificate is about to expire, and then you need to configure a log target to subscribe to that message and use SMTP (email protocol) to send the log message to the desired person.

    In case you have DataPower Operations Dashboard (DPOD), it has out-of-the-box alerts for expired and about to expire certificates that you can get by email, Syslog, etc. (it actually makes use of the same certificate monitor Mr. Sumner mentioned in his post).
