    I've found out that there are some files like .Version in which I found the following:
    DATE=100421170555
    FORM=LK4T-1479-14
    PART=
    and the OSLEVEL file which states the oslevel but not the TL or the SP.
    I haven't been able to find info about how to read the .Version file info.
    Does anyone know?

    Thanks in advance.
    Pablo.

    Its been a year I had to order a cd from IBM, im looking at all the cds that came in the package; containing various TL levels.

    For example TL4 SP3 cd says;

    AIX 6
    Version 6.1
    TL 6100-04-03

    I don't know where the customer has the cd's.
    I'm shure there has to be some coding in the files.

    Regards.

    1. the OP could have offered up, on the 1st post, this was an ISO image(s) on a VIO Server
    2. the creator of the ISO image(s) could have included the TL & SP in the saved ISO image name. Something like, AIX61-TL6-SP5-VOL-1of2.iso, or whatever
    3. I could have included a better working link to the IBM Pub web site. Here's a better link that doesn't include my session id -> http://www-05.ibm.com/e-business/linkweb/publications/servlet/pbi.wss <- and then walk your way thru to the Pub # web page

    We're done.... time to move on
