    Hi community,

    Infographic-Based Visualizations in the Offense Tab

    The new Infographic Offense View transforms how analysts understand security incidents. Instead of clicking through multiple screens to piece together what happened, you now get:

    • Timeline views of offenses to monitor activity trends.

    • Magnitude-based ranking to prioritize offenses effectively.

    • Host-based categorization to quickly identify targeted assets.

    How can i disable this new gadget? It's annoying to click "hide" all the time and it wastes valuable screen space :)

    Unfortunately i couldn't find anything in "System Settings". Any Idea @IBM Support?

    Hi Ralph,

    I could quickly suppress this feature and the Infographic window by adding the following CSS code 

    #chartInfoGraphicSection {
  display: none !important;
}

    to the file /opt/qradar/webapps/console/core/css/common.css

    It is not the cleanest solution, but QRadar no longer displays this window after that.

    Hi Robert,

    thx for this quick&dirty workaround :) It's good to know..

    Maybe the Dev-Team will think about a flexibel "configuration option" like the previous dark mode feature :)

    Ralph, 

    You can open this request yourself. Just tell developers that it is an inconvenient feature and it would be more handy if there were an option to switch it off permanently from the System Settings, for example.

    Please use the IBM Ideas portal, and the procedure is described in the document linked below. You can return later to this forum with the link, so people reading this thread will be aware of this and they can vote for your request for faster implementation. The more votes, the higher the chance it will happen faster.

    I see that an internal JIRA item for this change but also in the IBM Ideas portal, where you opened a request, the item is stuck at Needs more information. 

    If any correspondence was sent to you with a question, please answer it so that it can progress and change status to Approved.

    a quick briefly update from my site related to UP14 Update and the mentioned infographic visualization feature. It's still shows the same behavior..

    So let's wait until the next update comes out... :)

    This is correct Ralph, 

    no change has been implemented for this in UP14.
    Though it is on the roadmap for a later release. 
    We will update the thread when we have a confirmation of when.
