How can I delete a page (view) including all the associated files and settings that were generated automatically by Designer when the view was created? This includes not just the view file but also the generated Java files, etc.

Just deleting the underlying files causes build errors, since they are referenced from faces-config.xml and other places.

You should be able to right click on the view in the Solutions View and click Delete. That should delete all the appropriate files and remove all entries. I just tried this out on 8.2 and it worked. What version of Designer are you using?

That explains it. Designer did not do a good job in cleaning up all the references for deleting views in 7.1.2. I’d recommend either upgrading if possible, or creating an Incident report (or manually cleaning up the references yourself).
