How to define auto-versioning on existing collections

  • 1.  How to define auto-versioning on existing collections

    Posted Tue December 02, 2003 01:21 PM

I read in the documentation that I have to think before doing something. Unfortunately I did something and then started reading the documentation.
So I have created several collections and after filling them I learned that I have to setup auto-version-control is true before creating the first store…

Is there a way to define this setting on existing stores without throwing away all my previous work?

(For instance modifying the existing xsv:globals in Tamino)

    Thanks,

    Marcel

    Hi Marcel,
you can open and edit /taminowebdavserver/Domain.xml, adapt the “auto-version-control” parameter (at the end of the file) and restart the server. But be careful: the 3 parameters history-, workspace- and workingresourcepath should not be changed in this way, once stores are configured!!

    Peter
