I have a few that I had to set up that way. Specifically, I had an XML schema that had a recursive section and that was the only way to be able to process the file. I'm still a bit cautious with them and have an iterator count that I increment each time the map calls itself. If it goes over a certain limit, I fail and send a message just to ensure that I don't go into an infinite loop somehow.

    It really isn't difficult at all to do it that way and it works quite well.
