  • 1.  How to collect Datacap Navigator Desktop login/logout info

If I am correct, Datacap's Audit Log function collects login/logout information of
Rulerunner threads and IIS worker processes only,  when they log in to / out from Datacap Server.
In my opinion, it is pretty useless because Rulerunner threads and IIS worker processes periodically or automatically
log to Datacap server. The corporate audit team wants to know who and when the user logged in to / logged out from Datacap Navigator Desktop UI.
How do you collect login information of the ICN Desktop user?

    Rulerunner do not use IIS.

It's talks directly to the TM server.  Communication is between RR server to TMS.  The RRS log and TMS log should be able to see logon for success or failure.

    Datacap navigator needs wTM.
wTM can be hosted with IIS or run as a window services.

wTM log, IIS log, Datacap Client logging information.

If the application in TaskMaster Application Manager has statistic enabled, all data will be writing to to the engine DB.
Most are written in the taskstat table, audit table or queue table.  You can run query against these table for statistic.

    • There is a dashboard using json file to capture statistic in Datacap Navigator.
    • There is a RV2 report tool you can use to see statistic.   This is a application hosted in IIS separate to tmWeb.

User logins and logouts are recorded in the AUDIT table in the Admin database
