I don't know much about Java, but in the installation instructions are the paths & environment variables and how to set them for the included JRE. I would think that changing that information to what you want would suffice. Also - there's a notation that states that if you configure the product to point to another JRE, it must be the same level as the included JRE. So, I would talk to support before changing anything.
