In the future, consider using the cast function to assist with this if you cannot change the data type in the source.
cast(date_item, dataType(n))
I really wish they'd just put in a drop down that applies the cast for you...

Subject: How to change "Data type" - Warning: MSR-VRF-1202
I was able to solve by changing the data type directly from where the data was coming from.
Thank you!

Looks like the data type is TEXT which can not be aggregated. Depending on where the data is coming from, you may need a calculation that uses a function like cast to make it appear as a number.

Subject: How to change "Data type" - Warning: MSR-VRF-1202
I'm creating a data module and some columns have an alert message:
"Warning: MSR-VRF-1202 The column "COLUMN NAME" has the data type "string" and can't be aggregated."
How I can solve this?
Thanks!
