i got an activation key from my university but i am unable to find a place to active my version. I found this link (https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/how-add-authorization-code-ibm-spss-statistics-through-license-authorization-wizard#:~:text=Open%20that%20folder.,with%20full%20Administrator%20access%20rights.) while googling the problem but the activation wizard is not in the given folder. What am i doing wrong?

Hello, I think you used the trial release before? I mean I assume you used the SPSS Statistics Subscription trial release.

However, this is not the classic, code based SPSS Statistics release. Therefore the Subscription version you have installed, cannot be activated with an authorization code.

If you now have a code from your University, your University also need to provide the classic, code based SPSS Statistics software package to you. They can download from their IBM Passport Advantage account. There is no public download link for the classic SPSS Statistics 27 edition.

What you can also do is to download SPSS 27.0.1 from IBM Fixcentral. This is a modified SPSS Statistics 27 code based release that will work with the authorization code for release 27 you got from your university.
