We are changing to R12 from R11 and was wondering how everyone adapted to the change?  Did the upgrade with your companies go well?  Any problems?

Everything works fine for us. There are a few occasional hiccups. I have done a lot of customization so I went through the steps carefully and relied on my apptio support to make sure I didn't mess anything up. There are steps in there that give you the option of reverting tables which is a concern. Then you worry about losing formulas and/or filters that you created. That's why you do the update in a branch.

Depends on how complex your environment is I guess - we had some pretty significant issues during our upgrade which resulted in a delayed release. Some issues were self inflicted as we wanted to get some changes in at the same time as the upgrade and some were platform related.
