How does the Coordination mode of "Disable" in the polling notifications work?

  • 1.  How does the Coordination mode of "Disable" in the polling notifications work?

    Posted Thu October 30, 2008 03:04 PM

    Hello all,

Our current JDBC settings for polling notifications for a clustered environment are in the StandBy mode.

Hence when we set the properties for a particular notification, we get two options in the Coordination mode :StandBy or Disable.

I understand that in the Standby mode , the first instance of the notification once enabled becomes the primary and the subsequent instances assume the role of secondary till the primary goes down for some reason.

How does the “Disable” coordination mode work?

    Thanks and Regards,
    kiranj
