    Trying to pull VM tags and categories from vCenter 6.7 Update 3 using a custom Rest API. I'm new to this, anyone have some examples they can share? 

     

    FYI, the vCenter connector is working fine and I can pull data using the standard queries (Hosts, Datastores, etc). I just need more data included in my table updates so I can identify the billable owner, etc.

    We are having exactly the same issue. I am using the vCenter API guide, but querying the custom tags for a list of vms is not intuitive (which may be why it's not part of the out of the box servers query). If anyone has done this, please share an example REST statement. I will post any progress we make.
