Hello -

I’m fairly new to the webMethods world and am looking for a little help:

Can I configure a standard Enterprise Integration Adapter to handle HTTP Post requests in a Request/Reply type fashion?! If so, which Adapter will do the trick… (running Enterprise Server 5.0)

We tried the XMLAdapter’s SocketPoll operation, but it doesn’t know how to ‘speak’ HTTP…

Any help will be appreciated.

Have you tried the XML adapter’s HTTPRequest/Reply op? If that doesn’t work, you can also try using the I/O adapter - it includes HTTP get & post configured ops. Hope this helps.
