I was recently reading about IBM Cognos Analytics 12 and the importance of consistent data modeling for dashboards. It made me think about how these same principles apply outside of traditional business use cases - for example, in mobile gaming.

In sports-based games, especially basketball titles, analytics is used to track player behavior, in-game purchases, and even performance optimization for smoother gameplay. Without proper modeling, the data becomes inconsistent, and insights lose value.
