    I had the same issue on a new system we purchased. In the past I have always received new systems with some version of the OS but this time I didn't.

    You will need to install the OS fresh thru SMS menus or thru NIM server.

    As Orphy said, go verify what physical hardware exists and that it's installed properly.
    Once you've done that you should be able to boot off the CD or follow your instructions to install OS from a NIM server.

    If you can't see the disks in SMS, you should check your hardware first. Make sure all the disks are connected properly and that the adapters are all good. You can also check with your broker to make sure they got you what you need. Ask them for help to make sure they got you all the correct hardware since they sold you the boxes.

    I disconected physically the scsi Tape drive, and try to set scsi id from 7 to 13 for my 2 scsi adapters in SMS mode.

    i still cannot see the disk from SMS, only when i plug the disk in the 4 first array.(left part of the internal bay)

    Now, I can see the disk in SMS , when i plug the disk in the 4 last array. (right part of the internal bay)

    any idea ?
