    Hello everyone!


    I am a very basic SPSS user, and I would like your help in sorting peoples answers based on the year they were given, and the work background of the participants. I am using a survey of Russian Elites, where they have been asked about various political issues over the course of 27 years. Each respondent has a unique ID and was also asked to give personal information including their professional background. I would like to know, for example, how favorably Russian Media elites viewed the West in 1993 vs 2020.

    So far, by doing Graphs: Analyze -> Descriptive Statistics -> Frequencies I get only the totals for all respondents and all years. How do I make this more specific?

    you could use aggregate or select time spans you want.
