Right now we are working on providing the partner with NFS "high availability" solution based on nfs-ganesha (all Linux side, as we know it), but native LizardFS client for AIX would definitely sport a better performance - wre are having routinely 1GiB/s per client with multiple clients writing concurrently in multimedia applications, much better than what we got with NFS.
So, how to start - do we need to purchase some kind of access to AIX machine? If so, what you would suggest. I have found http://lparbox.com/order, but have no idea whether it is a good starting point. This service is not cost-prohibitive, but still a bit over the budget of $few I have for this project. This is bearing in mind we would need to port both FUSE and our LizardFS client.
